History of Venetos

Veneto or Venetia is located in the northeastern part of Italy and is one of the 20 regions of Italy. It lies between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea and is crossed by the rivers Po, Adige, Brenta, and Piave. Veneto is divided into seven provinces: Belluno, Padua, Treviso, Rovigo, Venice, Verona, and Vicenza. It's population is about 4.8 million and it's Capital is Venice. Veneto is today among the wealthiest and most industrialized regions of Italy.
